In an effort to developed a closer working relationship with Placer County Board of Supervisors, Pauline insisted the regularly scheduled PCWA meetings be held at the Placer County Board Chambers at the Domes.  This provided greater access to the public.  Pauline went on to become chairperson of the Placer County Water Agency twice, and is a Boardmember of the Joint Power Authority for the Middle Fork Project Finance Authority formed in January 2006 between the Placer County Water Agency and Placer County.  The value of this project is in excess of $250 million to the residents of Placer County.
