Pauline on a recent tour with the Placer County Agriculture Commission. Pauline believes that agriculture and open space are important economic and esthetic values that should be protected as the County develops. Most people, old time or new, do not want Placer County to be completely urbanized. They came here to escape the poor transportation, air pollution and diminished quality of life from their previous place of residence. They want a feel of open space. Pauline is committed to preserving agriculture and open space in the County and believes there should be an open space buffer between the cities and county property.
